Foster ProPell™ Plus
Low Friction Compounds

When manufacturing Foster ProPell™ Plus low friction compounds, the addition of special additives ensures that the friction of (soft) polymers is reduced while maintaining important mechanical properties. ProPell™ Plus is a significantly superior to existing additives and does not contain per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

Here are the advantages at a glance:

• Optimised application performance: Components such as catheter tubes made with ProPell™ Plus low friction compounds are less adhesive and therefore easier to handle. Due to the enhanced gliding property, they can be inserted into the body and removed more easily.
• Versatile applications: The compounds are ideal for extrusion and injection molding applications and offer flexible solutions for a wide range of projects.
