The B950 valve from NP Medical is a pressure-activated one-way valve. With a pressure resistance of 330 psi (22.8 bar), the check valve is ideally suited to prevent the mixing of liquids injected with high pressure, for example in contrast medium injection for MRI and CT, which uses a dual-piston injection system. If the B950 valve is used in the line that carries the saline solution, it prevents the contrast medium from flowing back into the saline solution line and prevents the liquids from mixing within the system. The valve is closed with a prestressed silicone membrane, which allows the flow initiated by pressure in only one direction. The valve has a low filling volume. Its transparent housing provides a clear view of the flow. It is lipid resistant, latex and DEHP free and solvent-free. A durable, ultrasonically welded assembly ensures the integrity of the product and the liquids flowing through it. The valve has been tested during the manufacturing process.
