MedNet supplements its extensive portfolio of color-coded syringes with a BPA-free version made of copolyester. TritanTM is a thermoplastic polyester from the US manufacturer Eastman Chemical, which is manufactured without bisphenol A (BPA) and without the addition of halogen and is used instead of conventional polycarbonate. The material is highly transparent, even after sterilization with gamma rays, electron beams or ethylene oxide without discolouration of the material. The high chemical resistance of the material allows the use of many different medications. Tritan is ideal for use in medical technology, also due to its good resistance to aging, stress cracking and lipid. The syringes are available in seven different colors. The Tritan syringes complement the proven product line of color-coded polycarbonate (PC) syringes. Both versions are available in sizes 1 to 30 ml, with Luer Lock and Luer Slip and with CE marking.
